Requirements

What you need to join.

Nannies must have the right to work in the UK before employment can begin, and professional childcare references may be required before introductions to families. We recommend that childcare professionals consider appropriate nanny insurance once employed.

✓Minimum two years’ childcare experience
✓Valid DBS check, or willingness to obtain one
✓Paediatric first aid certificate
✓Right to work in the UK

When meeting a potential family, preparation can make a big difference. Establishing a good connection with both the parents and the children is an important part of finding the right placement.

✓Bring a clear and well-organised CV outlining your childcare experience
